What is the "Instructor Version" of the Managers exam?

The Instructor Version of the Exam is used for Instructor applicants so that they are not taking the same Exam as their students, therefore lessening the chance that an Instructor might "teach to the test".

The Instructor Version of the Exam is administered like a normal ServSafe Food Protection Manager Exam. The Exam can be administered via paper and pencil or in person online.

To order Instructor Version exam booklets for print exam administrations: select the option under Section 4 of the Exam Request Forms.

To take the Instructor Version of the exam for Online exam administrations: select the Instructor Version under the drop-down menu for languages/versions.

A Registered ServSafe Proctor or Dual Role designee must order and administer the Instructor Version of the Exam for Instructor applicants.
