

What is Ohio Person in Charge program?
The Ohio Person in Charge (PIC) Certificate is required for the designated Person in Charge at risk level I-IV food operations or retail establishments.
Course Content:
Food Safety: Basic Food Safety, Forms of Contamination, Personal Hygiene
Food Handling: Cross-Contamination & Time-Temperature Control, Food Preparation
Operations: Purchasing, Receiving & Storage, Cleaning & Sanitizing
Additional Information:
No Exam: The course does not require an exam.
Duration: The online course takes approximately 2-4 hours to complete.
Certificate: After completing the course, students must print their Certificate of Completion for local Health Department review.
